Shelagh KennettShelagh Kennett (she/her) is an author and career coach with degrees in education and psychology. Her experience coaching hundreds of people, as well as her own eighty-year life journey, contributed to the insight and compassion that led her to write Her parents were also early influences on her writing, with her father giving her inspiring readings and her mother writing poetry. Nothing can compare to the inspiration and motivation she gleaned from her four children, to strive to become all she could be.

After over fifty years in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Shelagh downsized to living in a cottage in her son's backyard on Vancouver Island. In addition to writing and coaching, she enjoys finding inspiring quotations, biographies, and podcasts, connecting with her two grandchildren, family and friends, being in nature, gardening and walking by the ocean with her son and his dog.
