Shaun Rigby

Shaun Rigby has spent more than 25 years telling stories under pressure. A former journalist and now public affairs and crisis communications adviser, he has worked at the centre of politics, media and major public events, including the Beaconsfied mine disaster. His writing has appeared in The Australian, The Australian Financial Review and The Guardian, and he has won two Queensland media awards.

The Last Hope, his debut science fiction thriller, grew from a lifelong fascination with humanity's origins, survival, and the choices ordinary people make when the world falls apart. Shaun lives in Australia and is working on the next book in The Origin Series.
