Shashank S Kamble

Dr. Shashank Kamble holds the expertise in the biology of infectious diseases with an emphasis on tuberculosis & a consistent academic background in microbiology. He holds a PhD from the CSIR-Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology, New Delhi nd a post-doctoral training from the Jawaharlal Nehru University. Currently, he is serving as the Assistant Professor at the Amity Institute of Biotechnology, Mumbai and a visiting scientist at the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer, Mumbai funded by the Dept. of Biotechnology, Government of India. He has several peer reviewed international publications & has delivered invited talks in various academic institutions across the country. He has received research grants from national funding agencies. Currently, He is serving as manuscript reviewer for many international peer reviewed journals such as Frontiers in microbiology, BMC microbiology, Archives of microbiology etc. His research interests include the microbial adaptations inside the hosts as well as the mechanism of anti-microbial resistance & combating strategies.
