Sharon BowlesSharon Bowles, a transplanted New Yorker, was editor of the Arkansas Sun, Legislative Information Officer for the Arkansas Senate, and Assistant Director of the Arkansas Endowment for the Humanities. It was only when she started her own freelance wriing business that she could devote time to her passion: animals and their conservation. As a docent for the Little Rock Zoo, she handles everything from snakes and bearded dragons to opossums, ferrets and birds of prey. She hopes to travel to the Galápagos Islands one day.
