Shakeel ShahdadShakeel Shahdad is a Consultant and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at The Royal London Dental Hospital. He is a specialist in Restorative Dentistry, Periodontics, Prosthodontics and Endodontics. He qualified in 1992 and atained a Master's degree in Restorative Dentistry from the Queen's University of Belfast in 1995. Subsequently he worked and trained at Morriston Hospital, Swansea; University Dental Hospital, Cardiff; and in Dubai where he worked for Emirates Airlines. After returning to the UK he completed his specialist training at Newcastle Dental Hospital in April 2005.

Apart from the specialist restorative treatment, his areas of particular interest include implant dentistry and management of complex restorative cases. He is the Clinical Lead for postgraduate implant training at The Royal London Dental Hospital and the Institute of Dentistry, Queen Mary's School of Medicine and Dentistry.
