​Sergiu Pop was born in 1996 in the historic Romanian city of Baia Mare, a place steeped in the rich history and cultural traditions of the Maramureș region.

​In 2018, Sergiu relocated to Ireland, a pivotal move that profounly shaped his creative life. It was amidst the vibrant literary culture and inspiring landscapes of the Emerald Isle that his commitment to writing blossomed into a focused, full-time pursuit.

​Based in Dublin, Sergiu Pop is a dedicated author whose work is marked by a deep understanding of human stress and resilience. This perspective is uniquely informed by his professional life, where he serves as one of the Managers at a hospital campus in Dublin.

​His dual roles-navigating the complexities of a modern hospital environment while crafting fictional narratives-lends his writing an authentic and disciplined voice.
