Seonaid McGurkFrom childhood I have always enjoyed being beside the sea and beaches. I have been fortunate to live in Monifieth, Angus, on the east coast of Scotland, for nearly 30 years with easy access to many beautiful beaches such as Monifieth, Buddon, Carnousie, Arbroath, Auchmithie, Lunan Bay and Montrose heading up the east coast. To the south there is Tentsmuir, Kinshaldy, St Andrew's and all the beaches round the East Neuk of Fife. They are all different, some have miles of sand, others are rocky and some are covered in pebbles. As a family we have enjoyed many walks and holidays beside the sea in North Yorkshire, Wales and the west coast of Scotland. They all hold a wealth of happy memories.I have been proud to support Monifieth Eco Force in their efforts over the last decade to improve the local marine environment.
