Seamus CashmanSeamus Cashman taught in Tanzania in the 1960s, and back in Dublin became an editor with Irish University Press. In 1974 he founded Wolfhound Press to publish works of fiction, poetry anthologies, cultural & literary studies, photography, history, an also quality books for young readers. Wolfhound had published over 200 mainly Irish writers with over 600 titles on its list by 2001 when he left publishing. Irish Spirit compiled by Patricia Monaghan of the Black Earth Institute was launched in that year. He also reissued many established Irish writers of the early 20th century, including in particular Liam O’Flaherty, Margaret Barrington, and Monk Gibbon.
