Scott MinarScott Minar is a poet, essayist, editor, and translator. He is author of The Body's Fire (Clarellen, 2002), The Palace of Reasons (MAMMOTH books, 2006), and Exercises for Poets: Double Bloom (Pearson/Prentice Hall, 2006) wih Edward Dougherty. Joyce Carol Oates has called his work a remarkable find. He is editor of The Working Poet (Autumn House 2009) and THE WORKING POET II (MAMMOTH books, 2014). Minar has a special interest in the poetry of Paul Celan and in poet/visual artists, particularly Mark Strand. He has won a five teaching awards (Elmira College and Ohio University Lancaster). His poems have appeared in The Paris Review, The Georgia Review, Ninth Letter, Poetry International, Prairie Schooner, TickleAce, The High Plains Literary Review, The Laurel Review, West Branch, and other journals and anthologies in the U.S. and Canada.
