Currently, he is serving in the Santhal Pargana region of Jharkhand. He received the 'C.F. Andrews Social Work Award' in 1981, and his organization was honoured with the 'Indira Priyadarshini Vrikshamitra Award' in 1994 by the Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India. The author serves as the Secretary-cum- Chief Executive Officer of the 'Agrarian Assistance Association, ' an organization based in Dumka. He participated in the 'National Judicial Excellence Programme' held at the 'National Judicial Academy, Bhopal, ' from February 3 to February 5, 2012. He served as a Senior Member of the 'Permanent Lok Adalat' at the District Civil Court, Dumka, from 2015 to 2020.
