Sarah WainwrightSarah Wainwright is an attorney who researches and writes on the history and philosophy of American Law. Her interest in the profes-sion stemmed from being raised-along with her sister-by her single mother, who, after taking up law as a second career often had Sarah with her at her small solo practice. At a young age, Sarah was ex-posed to the legal profession at its most fundamental level-seeing the struggles of people whose lives were entangled in the family and criminal court systems. After finishing high school, Sarah studied art with the expectation of following a passion for painting, but after sev-eral years in the field, she missed the personal interactions and sense of purpose she remembered from her mother's office.
