Sangho ChooSangho Choo has been a professor in the Department of Urban Design and Planning at Hongik University since 2010. Before joining the faculty, he worked for about ten years at the Korea Transport Institute and was the director of Korea Transport Databae (KTDB) Center from 2008 to 2010. He earned a Ph.D. degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Davis and received the C.V. Wootan Award for the best Ph.D. dissertation on transportation planning and policy in 2005. Dr. Choo has specialized in the study of transportation planning, travel behavior, and big data for more than 25 years. He has authored or co-authored more than 100 refereed journal articles.
