She draws inspiration for her intriguing fiction trilogy from her private world of make believe and the Caribbean thought provoking phrases share with her during the tenty six years she resided in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Throughout each of her novels a strong use of dialect and colloquial language is woven into the narrative.
