San Diego Editors and Writers Guild

The San Diego Writers and Editors Guild is a group of writers and editors dedicated to improving our skills and helping others do the same. Our mission is to promote, support, and encourage the writing art for adults and youth at every level of exerience.

Our annual anthology, The Guilded Pen, is a volume of the best writing submitted by our membership. Many writers have published here for the first time alongside some of San Diego's most acclaimed authors.

The Guild has been a collaborative partner in the larger San Diego writing community since 1979 and takes part in author showcase events and fundraising for literacy and skill-building projects.

We continue to develop and grow as a Guild, recognizing the substantial changes in communication and publishing over the past forty years. Every innovation is driven by the passion and commitment of our members.

Membership is open to all.
