Sam Navarro is the founder and managing partner of a medical technology advisory firm that has guided some of the industry's leading innovators. Prior to this, he spent more than two decades on Wall Street in senior roles. His career has placed hi at the intersection of finance, technology, and human health.

Educated as both an engineer and a financier, Sam earned his MBA in finance from the University of Pennsylvania and his MS in engineering from Stanford University. His professional life reflects rigor and precision--but his writing springs from wonder, imagination, and a lifelong conviction that, as Socrates taught, "an unexamined life is not worth living."
