There, she developed "relational tourism" programs that included hosting groups to cook with Italian grandmothers, assisting in English language camps for local children, and facilitating local soccer tournaments with A.C. After completing a playful translation of ''Twas the Night Before Christmas into Italian for her daughter, Chiara, she was inspired to create a multilingual collection of the classic poem.
