S. Vigneshwaran

Dr. S. Vigneshwaran is associated with SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. He was awarded a Ph.D. degree from National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, Tmil Nadu, India in 2019. He received a master’s degree in engineering with a specialization in Manufacturing Engineering from Anna University Chennai, India, in 2013. He received Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Anna University Chennai, India in 2010. He has five years of experience in teaching learning and one year of experience as a production engineer. He has published research articles in refereed journals and presented papers in various international conferences. Moreover, he holds patents for two inventions. Besides, he has authored two book chapters and organized an international conference as a secretary. His primary area of research is plastic deformation. He also works on welding and fabricating metal matrix composites through solid-state methods.
