S. T. Oxfield
Born in Brighton, S. T. Oxfield grew up there and in Devon. He served as an RAF officer for five years before attending university, after which research and teacher training followed. He taught mainly in the north-east, where he sill lives, and has a deep interest in history, especially the 1940s, all things that fly, travel and the outdoors.
