S D Wilson

Dr. Steven D. Wilson is retired from U.S. Air Force who spent two decades learning that no crisis, alien or otherwise, is above a strongly worded memo.

These days he writes strategic communications for the Department of the Navy by dy and outlandish fiction by night, which keeps the voices in his head (mostly) at bay.

He lives on a farm in Louisiana, where the humidity is high, the crawfish are plentiful, and the tolerance for bureaucratic nonsense by the animals is refreshingly low - which may explain why so much of it ends up in his books.

When he's not writing, he can be found pushing tiny plastic soldiers around a table, a hobby he insists counts as "research."

The Other, Other Kind of Aliens, eh? is his first novel, though not, he assures readers, his last attempt to make the military sound funnier than it actually was.
