S C Ashton

S C Ashton graduated in Creative Writing at Birmingham University. Although her writing often explores female experiences, it is a young man’s fear of marriage that drives her 2018 debut novel, The Unravelling of Michael Gilchrist. Ashton’s poetry has achieved both national and international success, and her prize-winning poem, Ilaria Triptych, was nominated for the 2022 Forward Prize.
