Ruth MarcusComing of age in the late 1960s, Ruth Marcus hitchhiked from Wisconsin to San Francisco where she expressed many passions including graphic design, clothing design/manufacturing and mail order, and teaching at the Academy of Art. She earned a MastersDegree in Clinical Psychology and a Doctorate in Religious Studies-skills she applied in a counseling practice and Hospice grief groups. Macro-floral photography has been another interest that earned her juried entry to art shows in the northwest. Her photography has published as floral cards and matted images. Marcus' current passion is a daily writing. She lives on the Olympic Peninsula where nature inspires her to write poetry nearly every day.
