ClarkRUTH COX CLARK is Associate Professor in the Library Science and Instructional Technology Department, College of Education, East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina, where she teaches graduate level children's and young adult literaturecourses. She has worked as a school library media specialist and has been the Chair, (and is currently the Secretary), of the Educators of Library Media Specialists Section within AASL. She is the President of the Wisconsin Association of School Librarians as well as a member of the BBYA, Printz, Margaret A.
