Ruslan Zinchenko

Dr. Ruslan Zinchenko is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrist and a Senior Registrar in Psychiatry and Psychotherapy in the northwest of England. He has a longstanding interest in medical education, with a particular focus on practical and experiential learning. 

His clinical interests include the management of personality disorders, particularly in the perinatal period, the impact of mental disturbance on staff and clinical teams, and the application of psychotherapeutic principles to managing teams and organisations.

He is a module lead for the Royal College of Psychiatrists’ Leadership and Management Fellow Scheme and has contributed to UK parliamentary scrutiny of the Mental Health Act (2025) and the Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill (2024-2026).
