Rup Kumar BarmanRup Kumar Barman is Vice-Chancellor of Murshidabad University. He was previously Professor of History at Jadavpur University, Kolkata, and also served as Head of the Department of History from 2016 to 2020. Professor Barman has authored multiple book and research papers in various national and international academic journals. He is currently engaged in studies on state, border and citizenship as well as Dalit discourse and migration in a global perspective.
