He has since conducted over 12,000 tours of the Gettysburg battlefield. He is also an ordained ministe and a high school social studies teacher. Roy's other published works include Lincoln and the Human Interest Stories of the Gettysburg National Cemetery, and the two-volume work "One Country, One Flag: The Strife of Brothers is Past: Inscriptions & Location of the Memorials of the Gettysburg Battlefield."
