Roselle Angwin
Roselle Angwin is a writer with a wide reputation as a leader of holistic writing courses and retreats, many held outdoors, all inspired by deep ecology and depth psychology. Her books range from poetry to novels, from the psychology of myth to the mythology of trees. She has held many residencies and worked on collaborative projects with visual, sound and land artists.
Roselle progressed to veganism after decades as a wholefood-based vegetarian, the logical next step in the search for a more compassionate lifestyle. She has been increasingly concerned with how we shift from a human-centred to an ecocentric perspective, one where we are all in this together. This cookbook grew out of responding to friends’ questions and requests for recipes, as well as the impetus to find yet another way to cook kale/courgettes/squash…
She and her partner live on several wild, wooded acres in Brittany with a productive veg garden plus an embryonic forest garden. They grow much of their own food, veganically and in harmony with natural ecosystems.
