Rose LewisIf you haven't met me before, then my name is Rose Lewis, I live in the lower part of Victoria, which is at the bottom of Australia. I have been sewing for the biggest part of my life, since a young teenager, in some form or another. Children came alng, and so I moved into baby clothes, and as they grew the clothes became bigger. I made my first quilt in the early eighties for my eldest daughter. Patchwork and quilting was very new to Australia at that time, and supplies, books and patterns were certainly limited. Years have come and gone and these days the main type of sewing that I concentrate on is making exhibition quilts. I have won many awards, and written many articles for magazines, blog postings, pdf books, paperback and e-pub books and at the time of writing this, I have been up for Best of Australia twice with two of my major quilts.
