Rolf SachsseRolf Sachsse was trained by Karl-Hugo Schmoelz and Walde Huth as a pho_x0002_tographer with a specialisation in advertising, architectural, and industrial photography. He studied art history, communications research, and German literature in Munich ad Bonn. He completed his PhD on the history of architectural photography in Germany (1900–1975) in 1983. Until 2017, he was professor for design history and design theory at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in Saarbrücken. Since 2018, he has been a lecturer at the University of Bonn.
