Robin Fotie​Robin Fotie is a former special education teaching assistant. Her motivation to write this novel came from the experiences she had with the many wonderful children she worked with. One boy in particular touched her heart like no other. It was is exuberance for life, despite his many handicaps, and his honest affection for his teachers that inspired the book's main character, Josh.
