Robert Weaver Robert “Wingnut” Weaver is a surfing icon, one of only two dozen surfers whose biographies appear on the "Legends" page on Surfhistory.com. He spearheaded and capitalized on the explosion of longboarding in the 1990s, co-starring in Endless Summe II, the immensely popular 1993 sequel to the 1964 surfing movie classic, Endless Summer.
