Robert SchwabRobert Schwab was born and raised in Virginia and received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Virginia. During his career in academic medicine, he developed a special interest in the role that stories play in illness and heaing, and how the study of humanities can influence and improve medical education. He teaches an undergraduate seminar at the University of Texas at Dallas on the healing power of narrative and continues to speak nationally about these topics. In addition to three novels, Schwab has published work in The Sun, The Healing Muse, The Lyric, Futures Magazine, and American Poetry Annual. Holy Water is the second edition of his first novel.
