Robert S. FriedmanDr. Robert S. Friedman is Associate Professor of Humanities and Information Technology, Director of the Science, Technology and Society program, and Director of the Distributed Faculty of Social Sciences at New Jersey Institute of Technology, in Newak, New Jersey. His research examines science and culture, socio-technical systems design, and the role of technology in education. Dr. Friedman holds advanced degrees in the Humanities and Information Systems, has published books and peer-reviewed articles concerning information and communication technologies, technologies in education, as well as the history of science and technology in 19th-century America.
