Robert Louis CovingtonRobert Louis Covington is the son of sharecroppers from South Carolina. They migrated to Washington, D.C., where Covington spent most of his life. He draws inspiration from his vast experience, which includes baseball, racial conflict, seeing his fater marching off to fight in World War II, and catching live bands performing at theaters in post-war America. Today Covington lives in southern California and is a member of the Inland Empire California Writers Club. He worked for the federal government for 32 years and has been married to Cynthia for 59 years. They have two grown children and enjoy family life and all that goes with it. Covington has written quite a bit of poetry in recent years, and is working on his life's story. He owes it to his dear mother who named him after Robert Louis Stevenson, Scottish novelist, essayist, and poet. Visit Robert Louis Covington's website at www.rlcov.com Read More Read Less
