Robert J. MayhewRobert J. Mayhew is Professor of Historical Geography and Intellectual History in the School of Geographical Sciences at the University of Bristol. He is the author of highly acclaimed Malthus: The Life and Legacies of an Untimely Prophet (2014) and f a new edition of Malthus's Essay on the Principle of Population and other Selected Writings for Penguin Classics (2015). He was a Fellow of Corpus Christi College, Cambridge and was awarded a Philip Leverhulme Prize for his contributions to historical geography.
