As a registered lobbyist, he has also prepared briefs and presentations and made representations to standing committees to secure government support for numerous philanthropic organizations. Rob is also an active volunteer in the nonprofit sector. He is past Chair of the international development committee of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and also past Chair of the of the Associationa s Canada Council. He recently served on the executive committee of the Ontario Trillium Foundation and as a member of the board of visitors for the Institute of Charitable Giving in the U.S. Rob holds a Masters Degree in Philanthropy and Development and served on the faculty of Humber College instructing in the fundraising and volunteer management program. He is a popular lecturer and has addressed a wide range of audiences, including the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Canadian Association of Gift Planners, the Canadian Council on the Advancement in Education and the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy.
