Robert Boyle
Robert Boyle (1627-1691) was an Anglo-Irish natural philosopher, chemist, physicist, and inventor. He is best known for Boyle's Law, which describes the inversely proportional relationship between the absolute pressure and volume of a gas, if the emperature is kept constant. Boyle was a prominent figure in the Scientific Revolution and made significant contributions to the fields of chemistry and physics.
