Robert B YorkRobert York was born and raised in Northern Illinois. He is a 1987 graduate of Lake Park High School in Roselle, Illinois. After high school he entered into the graphic arts industry. In 1992 Robert began his education in the medium of Films. He wrot his first screenplay entitled "As Darkness Falls," after reading Syd Field's "Screenplay the Foundations of Screenwriting,". In 1997 he met the the woman that would become his wife. Following a whirlwind romance (which continues to this day) Robert and Kelly married two years and a day later in 1999. Mackenzie, the first of their two children was born in 2001 and Sydney, their second daughter was born in 2004. In late 2007 Robert began work on an online comic entitled ZAZZPLANET.COM, about a hapless alien named Zazz and a sanitation robot named Co-Ax that crash landed on earth in a stolen spacecraft. The pair make the life of one particular human named Steve a living hell. The comic ran for nearly three years cultivating a minor cult following. An avid reader, Robert decided to jump into the rewarding, yet difficult world of writing. In 2014 he began writing a series of short stories, one in particular, "The Yuckberry Tart," laid the groundwork for his first full length novel entitled, "Relics - The Chronicles of Solomon Drake". He is currently working on the sequel to "Relics", which is due out in SUMMER of 2019.
