Robert A SearsAfter finishing his education at Talbot Seminary ('82), Bob Sears served as an associate teaching pastor and counselor for 20 years in two churches. He then sensed God leading him to engage more exclusively with people who weren't already involved inchurch, but were open to explore their spiritual beliefs. So he worked as a missionary in the 12-Step recovery community and eventually as a case manager/pastor at an in-treatment drug and alcohol rehab for men.Since his "retirement" in 2019 Bob has been teaching and developing this discipleship course to help God's people grow by focusing on what matters most.
