Ro Mason

Fledgling is Ro Mason's first literary fiction novel. She is interested in exploring family relationships within social contexts. She has been studying writing at workshops and conferences for the last fifteen years. She has always loved o read and believes that the more you read, the better you'll write.

Fledgling brings up the question everyone faces: Why am I here, and what should I do? This question has become more difficult with the dissolution of traditional social structures such as class and religion. For Ro, taking care of children is the most satisfying answer to this question.

Ro is married to Larry Mason. They have one daughter and two grandchildren.
