She earned a B.S. in Gerontology from Bethune-Cookman University, an .A. in Gerontology from the University of South Florida, and a ThM from Xavier University of Louisiana. In 2009, she founded African Americans in Gerontology. Currently, Aisha is a Doctor of Ministry candidate at Emory University.
