Richard Watson ToddRichard Watson Todd was born in Shrewsbury and graduated from Lancaster University with a BA in Accounting & Finance before realising that accounting did not provide the most interesting of careers (apologies to accountants). After gaining a masters n Teaching English as a Foreign Language and a doctorate in the UK became Head of the Centre for Research and Services at the School of Liberal Arts at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in Bangkok and runs the Big Applied Linguistics Database. He has acted as a consultant to both the World Bank and the Thai Ministry of Education, is the author of several books and a regular contributor to the Bangkok Post.
