Richard W. HarrisonRichard W. Harrison received his Ph.D. in War Studies from King's College London and later worked at the US embassy in Moscow. He has taught at the United States Military Academy West Point and other institutions. He is the author of a number of book and articles on the Red Army and has produced several translations of official Soviet military histories and works by contemporary Russian historians.
