Rex S. LottDr. Lott earned his Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Washington State University in 1972 and Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota in 1977. He achieved board certification in psychiatric pharmacy in 2008. He has held faculty posiions at Washington State University, the University of Minnesota, the University of Washington and Idaho State University. The majority of his career has focused on the practice of psychiatric and neurologic pharmacy. In addition to his academic positions, Dr. Lott has also been a long-term care consultant pharmacist and has worked as both a pharmacy clinician and as a pharmacy director in residential facilities for adults with intellectual disabilities. He has authored and co-authored textbook chapters on the treatment of epilepsy and on the treatment of behavioral disturbances in persons with developmental disabilities. He has held his current position at Idaho State University and at the Boise VA Medical Center since 1977. He is a member of several professional organizations including the American Society of HealthSystem Pharmacists, the Idaho Society of HealthSystem Pharmacists, the American Epilepsy Society, the Epilepsy Foundation, and the College of Psychiatric and Neurologic Pharmacists (CPNP).
