She has been regularly taking part in conferences and seminars both in the country and abroad and has been active in organizing national and international conferences. Her published work includes 'Communicating Rural Development- Strategies and Alternatives' and more than 20 research papers in national and international journals. She is Convener of research committee on Sociology of Law of Indian Sociological Society.
