Ramesh Kumar Ahirwar
Dr. Ramesh Kumar Ahirwar, a trained ethnobotanist, holds a PhD from Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya (A Central University), Bilaspu, Chhattisgarh, India, since December 2019. Dr. Ahirwar has over 12 years of extensive experience in ethnobotany, both as a researcher and faculty member, and he has authored more than 64 research papers, many of which have been published in prestigious Elsevier journals such as the Journal of Ethnopharmacology, South African Journal of Botany, and Advances in Traditional Medicine. Additionally, he has contributed four book chapters to edited volumes in reputable publications and authored three books on various aspects of ethnobotany. He has been awarded many projects by various funding agencies. He serves as a reviewer for various journals published by Elsevier and Springer Nature.
