Ram Waeerkar

Ram Waeerkar (1920–2003) was an Indian illustrator and comic artist, best known as one of the founding artists of Amar Chitra Katha (ACK). His vibrant drawings helped define the visual style of India’s most beloved comic series, which retld epics, mythology, folklore, and history for generations of readers. Ram Waeerkar is remembered as one of the pillars of Indian comic art, alongside artists like C.M. Vitankar and Yusuf Lien.
