Rachel DeWoskin

Rachel DeWoskin is the award-winning author of five novels, including Someday We Will Fly, Blind, and Big Girl Small. Her memoir about the years she spent in China as the unlikely star of a Chinese soap opera, Foreig Babes in Beijing, has been published in six countries and is now in development at BBC America, where DeWoskin is cowriting a TV series based on the book. She is on the core fiction faculty at the University of Chicago. Her writing has appeared in the New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Ploughshares, Seneca Review, and The Helen Burns Poetry Anthology: New Voices from the Academy of American Poets.
