R. KeshavamurthyDr. R. Keshavamurthy is a full time professor and Head of Department of Mechanical Engineering at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore, India. He has completed Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering followed by Masters of Techology in Manufacturing Science and Engineering and PhD in Mechanical Engineering. He started his career as Research Associate in 2007, followed by Scientist at Central Manufacturing Technology Institute (CMTI) (GOI) Bangalore, in Rapid manufacturing division and presently working at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering. He has been a recipient of many sponsored research projects as Principal Investigator which was mainly sponsored by SERB, Dept. of Science & Technology, GOI, VGST Govt. Of Karnataka and AICTE, New Delhi. Under his guidance more than 10 batches of students have obtained sponsored research grant from Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology. His patents are also numerous and one being in the field of Additive Manufacturing. He has guided numerous PhD, postgraduate and graduate students. He is a lifetime member of numerous professional bodies. He is recipient of numerous awards and also Gold medalist for securing highest percent in Master of Technology. He is editorial member and reviewer of numerous reputed journals. He has more than 150 research articles publication in journals and conferences and authored more than 20 book chapters.
