He completed his bachelor's degree from AC & RI, TNAU, Coimbatore, T.N. and master's egree from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology, Srinagar, J & K (India). He completed his Ph.D. in Agriculture (Entomology) from Agricultural College and Research Institute, Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, T.N. (India).
