R SantoshDr. R Santosh was born in Pune. He did his schooling at the St. Vincent's High School, Pune. He did his MBBS at the BJ Medical College in Pune, followed by MD in Internal Medicine at the prestigious JIPMER, Pondicherry. He did his DM (fellowship) in he subject of Endocrinology at the premium institute, PGI Chandigarh. He started his career at Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad. After three years, he turned into an entrepreneur. He is one of the founder directors of the Magna Centres for Obesity, Diabetes and Endocrinology and is the Chief endocrinologist at the Filmnagar Hyderabad unit. As a medical professional, he has thirty-five publications including four textbook chapters. He has spoken in more than five hundred scientific forums, which include international, national and regional diabetes and endocrine conferences. He has been an invited faculty member in six international conferences till date. He has won the Abdul Kalam Award for excelling in the field of Endocrinology. He has written three books, two of which have been commercial successes. The third book, the Subconscious was a self-published book that debuted at the number one position in the Amazon Best Sellers list.
